Multiple Artists Picture Book Gallery of the Reader Collection of Japanese Flower-and-Bird Art

An undated, woodblock-printed picture book entitled Kachō Gafu (i.e., Picture Album of Flowers and Birds) was published by Genroku Nishimura, probably in the early 1800s. It included the eleven pictures of flowers and (or) birds shown in this gallery. Each picture was drawn by a different artist. Click on a picture to enlarge it.
